First Ballyeaston

Presbyterian Church

Welcome to

First Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church

The long wait is almost over!

We will resume public worship in our Church on

Sunday 20 September - DV.

This Sunday,20 September,  we look forward to welcoming members back to the first service in our Church building since March. As in so many other areas, things will be different when we resume worship in Church. Details of these changes were set out in a recent letter to members and a copy of this can be accessed by clicking here.         Members Letter

We know that some members will be unable to return to church for health reasons, and others will be reluctant to do so in the current uncertain situation. We understand these concerns. No-one should feel under any pressure to come to Church and we will be continue to provide services on the internet and on CD, which we hope will be a means of staying in contact with your church family.

We are thankful to God that the installation of our new Digital AV system has just been completed. This investment for the future replaces our previous analogue system which was 10 years old and will improve the sound and picture quality in church, and the quality of recorded services for our CD ministry. We also plan to use the new system to live stream our services on the internet as they happen.

Please bear with us as we adjust to the new 'normal' in our Sunday services and become familiar with our new AV system.

Unfortunately our church organisations will not be restarting as normal this month due to the Coronavirus restrictions.

So, for the time being, there will be no Sunday School, Bible Class, Youth Fellowship, GB, BB, PW, Bowling Club or Mid Week Bible Study

These activities will resume as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.

Our Girls' Brigade Company have been advised by Girls' Brigade headquarters that, in light of the current circumstances due to the Coronavirus epidemic, the 2020/2021 session will not commence until 2nd November at the earliest. As this date is being kept under review, we will keep you informed of the latest advice from GB HQ and the date when the new session will commence.  In the meantime thank you for your patience and we pray that you and your families will continue to keep safe and stay well.
