The long wait is almost over!
We will resume public worship in our Church
Sunday 20 September - DV.
This Sunday,20 September, we look forward to welcoming
members back to the first service in our Church building since March. As in
so many other areas, things will be different when we resume worship in
Church. Details of these changes were set out in a recent letter to members
and a copy of this can be accessed by clicking here.
We know that some members
will be unable to return to church for health reasons, and others will be
reluctant to do so in the current uncertain situation. We understand these
concerns. No-one should feel under any pressure to come to Church and we
will be continue to provide services on the internet and on CD, which we
hope will be a means of staying in contact with your church family.
We are thankful to God
that the installation of our new Digital AV system has just been completed.
This investment for the future replaces our previous analogue system which
was 10 years old and will improve the sound and picture quality in church,
and the quality of recorded services for our CD ministry. We also plan to
use the new system to live stream our services on the internet as they

organisations will not be restarting as normal this month due to the

resume as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.
Our Girls' Brigade Company have been advised by
Girls' Brigade headquarters that, in light of the current circumstances due
to the Coronavirus epidemic, the 2020/2021 session will not commence until
2nd November at the earliest. As this date is being kept under review, we
will keep you informed of the latest advice from GB HQ and the date when the
new session will commence. In the meantime thank you for your patience
and we pray that you and your families will continue to keep safe and stay
Coronavirus (COVID-19) precautions.
