First Ballyeaston

Presbyterian Church

Welcome to

First Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church

Since the start of April our Sunday morning services have been in our church building at 11.30am. The services are also live-streamed on our YouTube platform from 11.30am each Sunday morning, and can be accessed by clicking on the link on the right of this page.

The service this Sunday, 2 May, will be led by Rev McDowell and the theme will be “Jesus Comforts His Disciples” (John 14 v 1-14).

Please join us as we worship - whether in person or on-line

Recognising the continuing threat from Covid 19, the worship services in church are subject to certain restrictions, including:

          -        social distancing (2m);

          -        face masks; and

          -        singing softly.

To facilitate live streaming of the services we ask that, if possible, those attending be seated by 11.20am.

To help us effectively manage the numbers of those who would like to attend services we operate an on-line seat reservation system using Ticketsource. Please make your reservations online by clicking the following link: TICKET SOURCE. On-line reservations for each Sunday service open at 7.00pm on the previous Tuesday and close at 10.00pm on the Saturday night before the service.

If you wish us to make a booking for you, or if you have any queries, please contact us on 07709930372.

Mid-week reflections continue on Wednesday 5 May with the third of a six-week series called For now – being the church in unusual times. Developed by the Presbyterian Church in Ireland the series encourages members to be practical and creative, in this Covid season of church life, in developing what is possible ‘for now’. This week’s theme is “Engaging with God in Worship”. The reflections are available from 7.00pm each Wednesday evening.

Zoom Sunday School continues on Sunday mornings at 10.30am.

At this difficult time, we are especially grateful for members' support for the Church's work. If you are able to contribute to the work of the Church, you can do so by taking out a Standing Order in favour of the Church, or by posting your contributions to our Treasurer, Joe Bingham. Details are in the Church Bulletin
